| Tibbs Family Miniatures is the only name
that could possibly be used for our little farm. The Tibbs family
has lived in central South Dakota for many generations, with
ranching and rodeo always as a part of life. But when we left
ranching to live a few miles west of Pierre on a small acreage,
we had to scale down. With five wonderful children, we felt
they still had to be given the gift of animals to love and care
for. We ended up with the perfect answer, little horses and
small children would be the perfect combination. So in 1986
Tibbs Family Miniatures was born.
Through the years it has become, not only a
source of joy for us and our kids, but it has also become
a business venture. The family part of it is still the most
important part of our family business.
